Description
This is a full year course and will cover the following
- Ratios and Proportional Relationships: We will write, analyze, and solve proportions and unit rate problems.
- The Number System: We will add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers including positive and negative fractions.
- Expressions and Equations: We will simplify and rewrite expressions as well as solve a variety of equations and inequalities.
- Geometry: We will draw and describe relationships between geometric figures as well as solve real-life problems involving angle measures, area, surface area, and volume.
- Statistics and Probability: We will use data to make predictions and displays as well as finding the probability of different types of events.
