This class takes a deeper look into character design. Students will focus on what goes into creating a well developed character. Student creations could be used for gaming and/or movies.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to create 3D characters that are suitable for 3D printing, and go into a game environment and learn how to animate those 3D figures using Blender (a free open source 3D animation program). No experience needed.
Topics covered will include the principles that go into 3D Modeling Animations Step 1- Modeling
Step 2 - Riggings
Step 3- Texturing
Step 4- Animation
The theme this session will be Medieval Characters and beasts.
